Trash Dove, a little cartoon bird that has begun taking over Facebook. It comes from a sticker set made by the artist Syd Weiler, an adobe creative resident. This dove could also be used as emojis and netizens have been spamming people’s Facebook timelines with the head banging bird. Trash Dove is a Facebook sticker which has spread like wildfire over the internet, mainly in Asia.
In Thailand, the Thai word for bird is nok, which also means a person who is suffering from unrequited love or who is hopelessly single and alone, according to Daily Dot.
It first made an appearance through Syd’s regular livestreams, where she created a series of works from scratch live on the internet. Trash Doves was one of them, and her fans loved it so much that she submitted the designs for consideration to be made into Facebook stickers – which they eventually came to be at the start of February. They were released to little fanfare, really, but that soon changed as the people of Thailand took the first steps into elevating the humble Trash Dove into meme heaven.

Yes you can track your flight live on the air, like we track our amazon or ups packages. You heard it right, even I got surprised when I came to know about this. There is a website called Flightradar24, This service was started by two Swedish aviation enthusiasts in the year 2006 for Northern and Central Europe only, Later on they expanded their service to the remaining continents. Now this is available in all over the globe. You can even download in your android mobile also Link.
How does it work..?
Flightradar24 is a flight tracker that shows live air traffic from around the world. Flightradar24 combines data from several data sources including ADS-B, MLAT and radar data.
The primary technology that Flightradar24 use to receive flight information is called automatic dependent surveillance-broadcast (ADS-B). The ADS-B technology itself is best explained by the image to the right.
Aircraft gets its location from a GPS navigation source (satellite)
The ADS-B transponder on aircraft transmits signal containing the location (and much more)
ADS-B signal is picked up by a receiver connected to Flightradar24
Receiver feeds data to Flightradar24
In some regions with coverage from several FR24-receivers we also calculate positions of non-ADS-B equipped aircraft with the help of Multilateration (MLAT), by using a method known as Time Difference of Arrival (TDOA). By measuring the the time it takes to receive the signal from aircraft with an older ModeS-transponder, it’s possible to calculate the position of these aircraft. Four FR24-receivers or more, receiving signals from the same aircraft, are needed to make MLAT work. MLAT coverage can only be achieved above about 3,000-10,000 feet as the probability that four or more receivers can receive the transponder signal increases with increased altitude.
Radar (Radio Detection and Ranging), is an object detection system that uses radio waves to determine the range, altitude, direction of movement, and speed of objects. The antenna transmits pulses of radio waves or microwaves, which bounce off any object in their path. The object returns a tiny part of the wave’s energy to a dish or antenna.
